Lesley Cresswell is retired and lives on the Suffolk Coast. Having had a dual career in teaching and nursing, she now writes in a log cabin in her garden while enjoying walks and taking images of the countryside around her home.

Her first published work, ‘And the Grass Has Just Got Longer’ is a collection of poems which focuses on the harsh realities of life, love and loss. Now working on a children’s story, aimed at supporting the engagement of parents reading to their children, she has always been passionate about promoting access to learning which was demonstrated in her teaching – mainly of literacy to adults of all ages. Having a particular interest in dyslexia, she is also working on a novel which traces the journey of a boy as he comes to terms with his own learning.

Through this website, she hopes to excite people with formats and topics which they might otherwise not consider.
